Sand Creek Park Grand Opening
Description
Sand Creek Park has been under construction the past two years and reopens in 2017 with six new ball fields, two multipurpose fields, two playgrounds and a skate park. The park also features new restrooms and meeting/concessions building. Reconstruction of this athletic complex was possible thanks to a Park Bond approved by voters in 2013.
6:30 Event begins with root beer floats and fun activities Concessions also available.
7:15 Short ceremony.
8:30 FREE showing of Disney's Zootopia, bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy this outdoor movie.
