Ramble back in time with a look at the historic homes and beautiful gardens of Fridley. Discover homes rebuilt after the 1965 tornadoes demolished one in every four Fridley homes, and see a few that survived unscathed. See the shelters where residents took refuge from those storms and featured rooms such as a vaulted sunroom with a pipe-organ. Guests and homeowners will be available at several sites to answer questions and give advice on remodeling, conservation or gardening techniques. Proceeds benefit the Fridley Historical Society and the Anoka County Historical Society.
