'What's Your Big Idea' Career Explora...
Description
In conjunction with Anoka County Job Training Center and Anoka Technical College, we are once again co-hosting the ‘What’s Your Big Career Idea’ Career Exploration and Hiring Event. The ‘Big Ideas’ Mobile Learning Lab, which is a fully immersive virtual reality system to introduce a variety of career opportunities, was a huge hit with students & the public, so the Mobile Learning Lab will again be on-site.
When not in the simulator, students & the general public can talk to local employers about career options, summer jobs, internships, industry information, etc. while also participating in demonstrations and various hands on activities. Drones & a 100 ft bucket truck, live mosquito larva & a hands on demonstration of human cell growth are just 3 of the cool features!
Did we mention that there will also be prizes, giveaways, and delicious samples from Jersey Mikes?
