MN Skills Based Hiring Workshop

Description

The Minnesota Skills-Based Hiring Accelerator is a regional partnership of nonprofits, chambers and workforce boards that is working to expand the use of skills-based talent strategies in the MSP region.

This workshop is the hallmark of the Accelerator Program and follows the full lifecycle of an employee: job descriptions, interviewing, orientation, onboarding, professional development / upskilling and finally offboarding.

Participants are able to walk away with a clear understanding of what skills and competencies are versus credentials and certifications and where there are opportunities to make these changes at their company.

The curriculum additionally includes system-change coaching which assists participants at all levels of a company the ability to walk away from the workshop with best practices in hand to take back to their leadership with a case for skills-based practices grounded in data. 

This half day workshop is a nationally recognized delivery model and is a SHRM certified activity.
