New Income Guidelines Announced! |
The Legends of Spring Lake Park - as an affordable housing program participant - must ensure that the gross annual household income of its approved applicants falls below annually updated income guidelines based upon the average income throughout the entire county. These guidelines also take into account the household size. It's good news for applicants that, for 2018, the total allowable gross annual income limits have increased to the following:
- 1 Occupant: $39,660
- 3 Occupants: $50,940

- 2 Occupants: $45,300
- 4 Occupants: $56,580

How Do I Qualify?
The Legends of Spring Lake Park participates in a Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Total household income must be UNDER the following limits based on household size: 1 Occupant: $39,660 | 2 Occupants: $45,300 | 3 Occupants: $50,940 | 4 Occupants: $56,580.
Household income is based on GROSS (before any deductions) annual income earned from all sources including wages, Social Security payments, public assistance, pensions, annuities, interest income, stocks, dividends, bonds, insurance settlements, recurring gifts from family and friends, lottery winnings, etc. Third-party verifications will be required for all income; copies of tax returns and consecutive pay stubs may be required. To maintain the integrity of the community, credit, criminal and rental background checks are conducted on all applicants. |
