DESCRIPTION:Advanced Manufacturing Camp\n\n\nMonday\, June 23\, 2014 - Thursday\, June 26\, 2014\n\n9:00 AM to 2:30 PM\n\n\n\nThe Advanced Manufacturing Camp will introduce students\, ages 13-15\, to the manufacturing industry with real hands-on experience and industry tours.  Interested in being a Design Engineer\, Machinist or Welder?  During Camp\, a student will utilize the same equipment the professionals use to create and manufacturer their own designs.  On industry tours\, students will witness\, and take part in\, the design and production of an actual product. This is a great introduction to manufacturing and the many highly skilled careers in this industry.  But\, the best part of Camp is...it's tons of FUN!  Watch the video to see some of the camp highlights from last year.\n\n\n\nRegistration Closes on Friday\, May 23\, 2014.\n\nStudents will need to complete two short essays as part of the registration process.  The essays will be reviewed by the camp staff and used as a method for camper selection.
