DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the glamour of Las Vegas\, a wonderful meal and Vegas style entertainment while raising fund for educational programs in Anoka-Hennepin School District 11 at the 16th annual Northern Stars Bal.\n\nThe Anoka-Hennepin Education Foundation (AHEF) event will be Saturday\, Oct. 9 Earle Brown Heritage Center\,6155 Earle Brown Drive\, Brooklyn Center\, MN 55430-2138\n\nThe event provides funding to support educational programs that are not covered by school district tax dollars\, including talent development programs and certain reading initiatives. \n\nThe silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m.\, followed by dinner\, a live auction and an entertainment program\, provided by musicians from Andover High School\, Champlin Park High School\, and district staff.  \n\nTickets are $75\, of which $40 is tax deductible. Call the AHEF office at 763-506-1107 for ticket information\, to sponsor a table\, or to donate items.
