Dr. Scott Anderson has more than 15 years of experience in the field of macroeconomics. Based in Minneapolis\, he is responsible for the analysis and forecasting of international\, national and regional economic trends.  Scott was recently named one of the Top Ten Economic Forecasters in the country by USA Today for his forecasting accuracy during 2008\, the worst U.S. recession in 50 years. Before joining Wells Fargo as senior economist in 2001\, he held positions at Moody's Economy.com in Philadelphia\, and the International Monetary Fund in Washington\, D.C.  Scott provides daily analyses of U.S. economic releases\, and produces Wells Fargo Economics' macroeconomic forecasts. He authors the Wells Fargo California Outlook report\, the Economic Indicators report\, the monthly Fixed Income report\, and also co-authors Wells Fargo's weekly Financial Market Strategies report.  His research is widely read by the financial and business community. He has appeared in numerous media including CNBC\, Bloomberg\, MSNBC\, CBS Market-Watch\, BBC\, and NPR\, and publications including the Wall Street Journal\, New York Times\, Financial Times\, Washington Post\, Los Angeles Times\, Chicago Tribune\, USA Today\, and San Francisco Chronicle.
