DESCRIPTION:It's true! Jobs in aviation have turned around 180 degrees and a critical shortage of trained\, qualified aviation professionals exists right now. Enrollments nationwide at flight schools and aviation college and university programs are at some of their lowest ever\, yet industry demand for graduates are higher than ever and are expected to increase through 2020 as the aviation industry continues to expand. The most recent forecas...ts are predicting the North American aviation industry needing over 97\,000 pilots and 137\,000 maintenance technicians. The airlines alone need 23\,000 new pilots and 30\,000 new maintenance technicians per year from 2010 to 2029. The Federal Aviation Administration's Air Traffic Control Staffing Plan for the Future calls for hiring 17\,000 digital savvy controllers in the next 10 years.\n\n\n\nYou are invited to attend an informational event to learn about the real job opportunities that exist in the aviation industry. This important event will feature outstanding speakers from the aviation industry beginning at 7:00 pm. In addition\, flight schools and college and university aviation program representatives will be on hand to explain how to get a quality\, affordable education that will lead to placement in an expanding career with excellent salaries and benefits.
