DESCRIPTION:At the TRUST VETS November summit\, providing assistance to Veterans who wish to start or grow a business was identified as a priority\; Checkpoint 2014 is designed to address the issue and align Veterans for success in our community. This event will feature an expert panel that will discuss Business Law\, Estate Planning\, Ethical Standards\, SBA and Traditional Funding\, and Veteran Specific Funding & Resources. It will also feature special guest speaker\, Mr. Barry Bridger\, who will speak of his experiences as a POW and how they helped to shape his priorities in life. Bridger\, a decorated airman\, spent more than 6 years in captivity at the infamous "Hanoi Hilton" prison.\n\n \n\nEvent sponsor: First Command Financial Services\n\n\n\nThe event is open to the public and an RSVP is required via http://www.trustvets.com/january.
