Scott will be sharing his story\, the Eaton EAS story (formerly Cooper Power Systems and Cannon Technologies) and sharing his real-world overview of Eaton's model of outsourcing manufacturing of  low- to medium-volume products. Scott's presentation will be followed by a brief tour of Eaton's facilities.  Please note that Eaton is not a manufacturing facility.  \n\nAbout the Speaker:\n\nScott Staggert is the Director of Operations for Eaton Energy Automation Solutions (EAS).  Scott manages a $120+M Global Business Unit Operation Team for Energy Automation Solutions. Eaton EAS builds electronic products that provide solutions for the Power Industry Smart Grid.  Scott's team spans 8 locations throughout North America.  His team is responsible for purchasing\, planning\, manufacturing engineering\, production quality\, and the global supply chain.  Prior to taking on the role of Director of Operations\, Scott was the Manufacturing and Engineering Manager for Cannon Technologies before they were purchased by Cooper Power Systems in 2007.
